Ca<sub>2</sub>V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub> as an Anode‐Active Material for Lithium‐Ion Batteries: Effect of Conductive Additive and Mass Loading on Electrochemical Performance

Abstract Lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) play a crucial role in using renewable sources. Vanadates have been applied as anode material due to the combined diffusion mechanisms and higher stable capacities. Despite interest vanadates materials, only few studies considered Ca 2 V O 7 (CVO) an active for LIBs. This work focuses on use of CVO potential alternative anode‐active Additionally, we investigate effect conductive additive (C65) electrochemical properties electrodes, utilizing densified electrodes with porosity about 40 %. In doing so, this study provides important insights into new materials LIBs, where were manufactured commercial slurry methodology, replacing graphite by – which was synthesized via Pechini route (D50: 8 μm after milling). summary, results reveal that amount C65 positively affects electrode‘s capacity. An increase specific capacity observed up 30 % 10 wt.% C65. Such showed 235 mAh/g AM at C/10 and, when cycled 1 C, completed 300 cycles retained 39 The demonstrate might be promising LIB energy storage systems.
